MaryAnn and Theron received training as consultants and interventionists for First Responders (Police, Fire Fighters, Paramedics and Hospital Staff) to conduct Critical Incident Stress Management Debriefings as well as for Corporate Crisis Interventions. Weeks prior to the Columbine High School shootings in Colorado, MaryAnn and Theron initiated a county-wide Youth Response Network to assist schools with the management of traumatic events involving staff and students. During the three years of the project we were instrumental in training more than three hundred school personnel in techniques and procedures for school crisis intervention.

MaryAnn and Theron are contracted by the US Postal Inspection Service as Therapists for the Service's self-referred counseling program for Postal Inspectors.

In addition to bank robberies and incidents of work place violence we were contracted to manage what came to be known as The Wendy's Massacre in Queens, NY. As trauma specialists we assisted Wendy's corporate leadership to provide the appropriate mental health services to their traumatized employees and the families of the deceased employees. After three months of ongoing support we were honored to meet Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy's, at the memorial service for the five deceased employees. We cannot say enough complimentary words for the manner in which the corporate managers provided for their impacted employees and families. It was our privilege to work in partnership with Wendy's.

September 11, 2001 was a traumatic day for Americans and the world. For us it was a job patriotic mission. Before nightfall we received the "invitation" to assist in New York City, Long Island and New Jersey. We conducted trauma interventions with employees of numerous corporations, including Bloomberg Financial, Cablevision Television, and Holland & Knight International Law Firm, who were traumatized by what they experienced and the losses they incurred. Our clients at home were of tremendous support and encouragement despite the amount of time that we were on duty and away from the office. Many clients wished they could have been of service to the victims. They saw us as an extension of themselves as we used "their time" to be of service during the 9/11 aftermath.
